I built two small speakers for my desk, and naturally they need an amplifier. So I've put together two small amplifiers mostly from parts I had lying around. Should do about 40W into each, which is perfect.

I am very happy that I finally managed to finish this project with TSSA V4 amplifier. I made a dual mono variant, with 2x52VAC / 1000VA transformer, with RIFA PEH169 capacitors. Very detailed, huge dynamics, fast bass and fist, I just love it.

1/3 of the heatsinks are for decorative reasons!

Default case

Are you sure ? Did you ask how much total bias it has?

I agree, all heatsinks look very well joined. I suppose you have applied thermal conductive paste on all join surfaces

As i can see the output devices are bolt to the 2/3 of the heatsinks as active cooling!
So no matter how much total bias it has( the more bias the worst thermal resistant to the third party of the sink even thermal paste applied) temperature measurements will tell you the truth
Well build box for the show not for the go!
You need to redesign your board if you want to get the most from your <high bias> amp with your chosen box

First of. That is not active cooling. It is the definition of passive cooling.
And you are wrong about the third heatsink only being for show. It will ofcourse be less effective. But is will still have effect. So will the top, botom, rear and front panel too.

Of course it's a passive cooling!
It's <active thermal path > for the output devices that are bolt on them!!!
No effective at all!heat spreading is just bad
