Hi all,

I was just wondering what everybody was using as a reference amplifier for their building/testing loudspeakers in their sound rooms.

Im particularly looking at a QSC PLX2 1802 atm and haven't really found anything else other than your average dual monoblock hometheater amp.

i'm looking for 2 ohm capable into 2 channels preferrably, best audio quality possible (lowest THD possible, highest S/N ratio) and broadest Freq. Band possible (>18-25 @-3Db)

The amp in question has all this (relatively) and i'm just curious if you guys have suggestions before i go spend $1000+ and end up with an amplifier more suited for "live" venus.

Quality in all areas is of upmost importance here as this will be a reference used in a soundproof/treated room.

(has to be equal to or rival, your average harmon/kardon....)

Shouldn't be too hard eh?

:D

Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated.

Marc
