I have a transformer (12.6V @ 25 AMP, not CT) lying around, and it just occurred to me if I could make a multi-channel amp with this transformer. It doesn't have to be (well... rather, cannot be) high power amp because of relatively low secondary voltage of the transformer. Maybe an 5.1 system with single power supply? Any idea is welcome. Thanks.

You can use Car BTL Amplifiers ( Kit , Modules etc.) with a single supply. Your transformer (300VA) is good for a PC multichannel amplifier.

Example: 5 x 20W amps.

Or you can make bi-amplified or tri-amplified amplifier sistem.
See Rod Elliot site for a very good information about this subject.

Regards !
