Krell KSA-150 capacitor question

Hello.
I have a safety capacitor that is broken on the slow start board.

It is marked with 440L 250AC, it is brown/yellow and is located between the 2 brown
resistors that gets hot as hell.

What values is it and what is a good replacement?

I have searched 3 days now..

Thx in advance.

Classic Krell of that period. Looks a lot like my krell KSA 250 - same design flaws - Power resistors on the soft start boards overheating nearby parts , pc board slowly cooking and browning, burnt and dried out capacitors. Change any nearby electrolytics to 105C type NOW, even if the existing caps are 105C , change them as they will age out early because of the nearby resistors overheating them. yes blue X rated caps are fine

Old thread but maybe helpful idea. On my KSA-250, I moved the 700-ohm soft start resistors to the opposite side of board near the front panel so they would not toast components. Pic of toasted parts not mine, snagged from internet. They get hot, I measured 400F.
