Its weird variation of JLH amplifier with LTP input.

In JLH the VAS transistor phase split and drive both MOSFETs. Actually tschrama built hexfet-JLH long time ago.

BTW I you see Radical in description of something ordinary, and such word does not come from Master Joda, run, as Luc Skywalker did.

The Radical Audio Synthesis comes from my name Ras, pretty clever for the time I would think.

BTW it has been around since 1973. Never bothered to compete with the likes of the Japanese or British amps at the time.

Simple amps for simple people. I concocted several push-pull designs but if you can live with the inefficiency, the expense of heat sinks and cost of a beefy supply, then SE (Single Ended) just sounds great.

Unfortunately when over driven it just falls apart, but that is characteristic of SE. Please do not mistaken it as audiophile, there is no input transformers or multiple paralleled output devices, etc.

I have build a lateral mosfet amp and a JLH amp with the info that I got from Nico, both going strong and sounding superbbb. BTW, the JLH uses new flatpack trannies and they are definitely not too fast for the circuit. Easy to adjust, works great !
