Plinius SA 250 MK 4 --fireworks -repair

I need help as this belong to a friend who want to get it repaired.
I behave been told it is a class a amp ? 150 W/ 250 W !

Please see the pictures below.

Is this problem endemic with this amp? I have been toid that this is the second time he encountered problem with this section of the amp.
The amp is out of production, is there a source to get a new board?
Any schematic ?

This a small NZ company and I cannot even find their name listed anywhere.
The build quality, if original, looks poor to say the least.

Mmm looks a little like something I saw once. That was caused by incoming netvoltage dropping below certain minimum voltagelimit for poweramp at times, when that happened amp would try to powerup again and again (with netfrequency 50hz), and that on/off/on/off/on making it impossible for netvoltage to recover

i tried the plinius support page but the model is not listed .
I hope he can try Nelson F5/ aleph J if he want class a .

Miniature amps in comparison, 20W vs 250W classA, he might need to buy other speakers too.
