I am looking at a friend's Arcam A60 amplifier which suddenly stopped working.
I have found that the transformer is only putting out a few millivolts on the secondary side despite getting the full 230 volts on the primary side.
I have never had a transformer fail before and wonder what could have caused it other than the windings shorting but what would have caused that?

yes, but you may be able to replace the non replaceable one.. lol if you're desperate... ahum...
