Most ultimate Bluetooth Speaker: Bose's small sized "Soundlink Mini"

Until know I don't know a speaker with better sound refered to the size.
JBL - also a very large speaker manufacturer - sounds absolutely unacceptable by their models "Flip" and "Charge" (you will think, only a tweeter is in use without bass and midrange). Why sounds JBL so bad?

Happen to have one for a short moment then gave it away to the in-laws as they wanted something very portable and decent sounding for their everyday morning walk. Personally I never liked the sound as it seemingly tries overly hard pretending something bigger by boosting certain part of high bass perhaps, heavily colouring the sound. I would say one can be amazed by its sound for it size, but not by its sound itself.

A bigger and heavier similar product I used to have for a short moment too is Sound Blaster Roar. It's less expensive, and better sounding IMHO, but not as portable as the Bose Soundlink Mini. My son snatched it for his desktop playback device.
