Here in Norway, these are rare amps, because European importers sat the price unrealistically high for these amps, in the nineties. Therefore relatively few was imported.
I've now got the opportunity to buy a set Threshold FET 10 HL preamplifier, and Threshold SA/4e stasis for approx. $ 2000.
The kit has just been serviced, where they are cleaned and adjusted. The seller do not know if the power capacitors are replaced, or if they are original. What other parts, except capacitors, is what you probably need to replace in these 25 years old amps?
As this is rare amps here in Europe, I am not sure if this is a good deal. Can someone who knows more about this than me tell me a little about these amps, and what a reasonable price should be for them?
