Let me not lean towards new. You see there are many ways to bake the same cake . Even using the same technique different bakers achieve a distinct signature.

At this point in time I can only give projections. The diamond stage has its own characteristics. The mosfets have their own characteristics. There may be something about the behaviour of the diamond stage that the mosfets need.

I think the opamp will be the limiting factor. Good for those who already own hi perf opamp. To buy new i dont think so.
Would bootstrapping the opamp to allow use of same +/-40v rails help?
