1000W Simple PA Amplifier

what this amp needs is a good SOA protection circuit...use a series lamp tester, it saves a lot of grief..

Setting bias is easy, just adjust about 15 mV on 1R/5W resistors and that is 15mA per output pair or 135mA total.

hi mr. mile and all
Therefore, the voltages on both sides of the 1 ohm resistor should be 135 mV (for 9 pairs of transistors) ...
Is this correct?
Should the input be connected to the ground to adjust the bias?
Thanks

I Have a qestion also for speaker protection.
is this protection any good for ba1000 amplifier.
im gonna use 80amp auto relay .
can somebody will explain to me ,this 10ohm resistor is in the series with speaker
whether or not the speaker impedance will be it 10ohms more.
for example 4ohm speaker with this 10ohm resistor will had 14 ohm or this resistor
dont have influence on speaker.

And one more question can somebody have connection diagram for bridging this amplifier from 2 channel in 1 bridge channel.
thanks in advance!

if you are going to use auto - car 12Vdc relay that is going to be a problem due to short distance between relay contacts. it will not be able to make safe contacts opening. as Rolling Stones would sing "Sparks will fly" and contacts would ended welded and speaker protection would miss it's purpose.
What sort of relay you recommend for speaker protection?
thanks for reply.
