There is the matter of the OP wanting to use a 36-0-36V transformer and the resulting 50-54V DC rails.
The high voltage almost dictates a non-cheap amplifier. If price is the primary constraint, I think an Ebay
transistor amplifier kit or PCBs might be the only direct solution. You waste too much money sourcing hard-to-get
parts in small quantities and that's the reason for buying kits, even though the design or some parts may be ****.

If you still want a premium design and parts, it is going to be expensive, particularly if you DIY the whole project.

su 470 works wih VI limiters resulting high voltage rails providing enough headroom but still calculations dont work out

36+36 volt ac will be enough as voltage to create an amplifier of at least 100real watts at 8ohms ...still the specific trafo eventhough possible to produce the voltage hasn't got enough power to support them

even if you make or get a kit of 100 W power amplifier you will eventually produce almost 60 with danger and distortion ...

so sorry ..its a no go unless you design or get some amplifier that is designed to operate under the VI limiter principal and low power

Kind regards
sakis
