I'm restoring a Sansui 9090 , I've done the fusible resistors and now I have two channels working , one seems fine the other very distorted . I can do a comparison of voltages and hopefully find the source , but setting the bias is a problem. I've done the DC at the speaker terminals OK , but for the bias checking, when I put a multimeter across the fuse as per the service manual to test the mA , the protection circuit won't let it turn on any more . Same with both channels . Any idea how I get past this?
