Recently I purchased Hafler DH110 and DH500 for my Bose 901 speakers.
Previous owner used the amps for Martin Logan Sequel II speakers and performed the following modifications from 'Musical Concepts" in 1994.
For DH 110:
M-110LX $244,
LPS III: 99$
For DH500:
PA-2 $294,
Dual-Mono DH-500 $399
Rewire Amp $95
2 Sets Gold Binding Posts $70
I tried to connect them to my Bose 901 speakers, but the sound is very weak.
I'm not sure my connection from Power amp to speakers were right or not, because DH 500 has 8 binding posts as shown in the picture which I've attached. How should I connect power amp to speakers in this case?
Additionally anybody knows how to connect pre amp to power amp? After modification there is a sticker as shown in another picture, which shows DC and AC. Do I need to connect power amp to DC or AC?
I wonder whether the amps needs a modification to be an original one again to make sound with Bose 901s.
This is my first post and I'm not fluent in English.
If I don't make an explanation about my issue clearly, please let me know again.
