Like Thimios, I too heard a hum from this circuit. I'm not sure if using a separate AC transformer for the circuit would eliminate it. I Am attaching a Sprint file that has a few different layouts.

Thanks thimios and Terry,

I think the hum could be due to insertion of mosfet Rds between PGND and SPEAKER -.

I hope Mr. Mile can suggest improvements to remove the hum, otherwise SSR protect is a very useful for any amp from long term protection point of view.

meanwhile I just cobbled together a layout to use a double banana binding post.

No, the hum is because of no optoisolator use.

apex AA9 prototype on board
final will be when i source more heatsinks, this 200x100x40 in mm per chanel isn't enough
but with pc fan is ok
iddle curent is set to 1.2A sound is nice and tight like all apex amps
