thanks for your interest in my homage to this Man of Finland = 'Land of 1000 lakes'

Bob Cordells has witnessed along with others
that he was a good chap to work with .. with his own ideas ;)
... I only know what I read from other audio personalities on the net

Hehe.
Glad I never told I was the oldest .. only told that some, most are younger.
I bow for you my grapa ;)
When Mark Levinson left MLAS and founded Cello, Colangelo and Jayson joined him, continuing their string of acclaimed audio products, including the Audio Suite preamplifier, Performance and Encore 150 amplifiers, the Stradivarius loudspeakers, and the legendary Audio Palette.
--
Jayson and Colengelo continued their 27-year collaboration at Viola Laboratories, designing, among other components, the Symphony power amplifier and Cadenza preamplifier.

"There will never be another Tom Colangelo," said Mark Levinson. "He was a truly unique and inspired individual with talents, perceptions, and gifts that cannot be replaced.

Tom was a combination of so many things
:)
—down-to-earth,
humble,
practical,
loyal,
full of vitality and
brilliance,
with many struggles and
pain, and always striving
to do his best for
his loved ones and
his work."
:)
Sure would have liked to be around him.
There are not many like him and me. Not if we read some posts at this board. (Some even has to be taken way to Oil State of TEXAS).

He, Tom, dies at the mere age of which I will be tomorrow: 58
(1949-2007).
John Curl must be very familiar with him .. MarkLev.
Where are you dear John?

I already got a book about Jesus
(trying to find out some truth about the man we REALLY count with ... 2009 years after!!!)
from my dead fathers sister. She is very old now, 84.
Got this book yesterday as a first birthday present.
Tomorrow will come more gifts for old or young LINEUP.

Wasnt he the man saying "no one needs more than 60watt" ?

A size he considered to be the limit to still maintain best possible specs/sound

Dont know, is the famous swedish "25watter" from Electrocompany of this origin ?
I believe its still considered a very fine amp

He would not of liked what the japanese did with his design. +-75V rails, -250 watts (same topology). Pioneer 1985 (attached)
...they did add a cascoded Jfet differential (2SK129A -typical).
