After further consideration it has been decided to leave Hornresp as it is, with only the "Q Factor" input.

The following explanatory note will be added to the Filter Wizard section of the Hornresp Help file in the next update.

In some parametric equaliser software packages the shelving filter 'Q Factor' is actually S, a "shelf slope" parameter. The relationship between Q and S is given by the expression:

S = 1 / (((1 / Q) ^ 2 - 2) / (10 ^ (G / 40) + 1 / (10 ^ (G / 40))) + 1)

Where:

S = shelf slope parameter
Q = Q factor
G = gain
