SpeakerSim speaker simulation software

Can I use it for accurate bass reflex enclosure design ?
It should give you same result as other "5 parameter" bass reflex simulators (BassBox, VituixCAD, ...).
It does not simulate standing waves as more advanced simulators like Hornresp.

Can I select different alignments : bessel, legendre, techebychef, etc... ?
There is no automatic enclosure calculation. Maybe I will add it.

Does it takes losses parameters into account : Qa, Qi, Qp ?
Yes, it does have Ql, Qa, Qp.

There are too may tabs :)
Graphs can now show multiple data. So now there are slightly less tabs.

Listening window, power response, and directivity now on single graph:

Enclosure, cone, and port on single graph:

Now responses of sub-items are also shown:

Room simulation does not include first reflections anymore, because it was not very useful.

Can I select different alignments : bessel, legendre, techebychef, etc... ?
With latest version answer is yes.

All the Thiele/Small parameters are in SpeakerSim. Clicking on Enclosure shows a Closed box volume. Is this calculated by SpeakerSim?
In latest version enclosures are automatically calculated.

suggestions

Great.
You will see it is very inefficient (I preferred simplicity and flexibility over performance). Probably it is ugly and bad.
You are welcome, if you have any improvements or suggestions.

1 Possibility of coupling 2 standard and push-pull speakers and parallel series
2 The F3 indication of the system is missing
3 The possibility of active and passive B6 reflex box alignment is missing
4 The graphs are missing the cursor with any data

Thank you for your suggestions.

1. Issue is written, but currently I don't have a good solution.

2. I have wrote an issue.

3. I'm not familiar with B6 alignment. I can take a look, if you provide me more info.
But since you are mentioning "active", I suspect it won't be easily possible with current design.

4. Do you mean, graphs should show value on mouse hover?
I'm not sure this would be possible with current graph library, but I have wrote an issue (I would like that too).

More drivers in series and parallel are supported, but no push-pull.

Graphs now show value on mouse position. :D

I have a suggestion. Can you add a cone gain chart? This would be the acoustic gain of the speaker in units of sound pressure per newton or sound pressure per amp coil current.

Sound pressure per amp would simply be the sound pressure divided by the speaker impedance. For newtons, F=BLi.

This allows an evaluation of the acoustic behavior of a given speaker cone or diaphragm and/or baffle without the influence of motor impedance. This way different cone geometries can be compared without the motor influence as Le is usually used to compensate for rising acoustic gain with frequency.

In REW I can use trace arithmetic to get the chart I want, it just takes longer. I just wanted to have a file full of drivers to see the effect of cone shape on response. I can do this with readily available ZMA and FRD files, so I don't think I would use a chart export to do this.
