Hi all.
We have made an Errata for the TSSA V1.6 AMP. Add a 470R resistor between Q12-C and Q15-S and between Q13-C and Q14-S This help stabilize idle current of the amp. |

Sonny,
although I have not looked intently, I have not noticed any issue. Are there other factirs at play?

That will take a couple of vias cut with a craft knife?

No, i have pictures. on how it is done.
Basicly we can list Collector and insert the resistors in between. I have an extra note for it. (Damping factor get higher) |

Hi Tomas , Justin and others.
I am preparing the mod pictures. You will need a tweezer, scalpel and 330R 0805 1% resistors - Sonny |

Seems like I'm up for the first SMD mount. I hope that doesn't mean I have to buy soldering tweezers
![]() For R, something like that? PCF0805-13-330R-B-T1. - WELWYN - RESISTOR, 330R 0805 5PPM | Farnell United Kingdom Plus 5.6k for R7, R8 and 500R for R22, if low impedance is desired? |

Guys, as I'm prepping a Farnell order to have parts before weekend, I want an advice that might be slightly out of your competence. Still, would like to know what you intuition says.
I'm almost sure that my speakers would benefit from lower impedance of this amp. Although I have never done SMD. Should I risk replacing those resistors without special equipement like smd tweezers? Same question for idle current stability mod. |
