I've got one of these in the uk. The transformer is 2 x 110v. We're 240v so I've altered the cathode bypass resistance from 300 ohm to 270 to get the EL34 idle at 70% of max power.
Also the input 6n9p double triode is wired in an interesting manner, and quite different from the schematic supplied. Both parts of the valve, triode 1 and triode 2 are wired in parallel. The grid bias actually comes from the 100k resistor which is across both grids and ground on the amp side, and has the CD input on the other.
