Hi,

I wish to use USB câble with independant 5 volts with my dac and I have a question:

Dif AMANERO cards is with an independent 5 volts in the HQ AUDIO Dac with Lundahl Output ?

Or may I have to add a supply 5 volts outside the DAC to feed an USB cable ?

Amanero external powering was explained by Quanghao back in April 2013 -

Two points:
- the Amanero board must be modified to disable the incoming USB 5V power
- 3.3V USB supply on the DAC-END-R must be enabled with a jumper - J3 on ver1 DAC, or J11 on ver2 DAC.

I have the complete system with Amanero USB board, Lundahl transformer output option and chassis to sell. Are you interested in this?
