How accurate are the impedance measurements Zaph does? Has anyone worked with his parameters in their projects? I have one of the drivers that he tested and was wondering if his results were accurate enough to work from. Specifically, the Seas CA15RLY midbass which was in his latest test group, and the Seas 27TDFC, which is listed in his tweeter mishmash. Any input? Thank you............

impedance plots -- all accurate -- will differ depending on the level of drive used. If you use a computer & sound card you get a low voltage drive. If you do it manually (for instance) and have a larger drive (say 1 V) the Fs will be lower and the Vas higher than in the low voltage situation.

For sealed boxes the parameters change in such a manner that you end up with about the same box size.

(all the above is paraphrased from a post by Dan Wiggins -- my experience with Fuzzmeasure is in line with this)

You also have to keep in mind that legitimate driver-to-driver variation can be up around 20%.
