just right side of differential circuit directly attach -vdd

That schematic is a direct scan out of the Velleman K8060 power amplifier module leaflet. It's not a bad performer.

Was I blind?

yes, the connection is OK!

Dear Sirs,

I am very interested in this kit from Velleman.
Extremely simple but nice.
I wonder if powering the first voltage gain stages with a +/-40 V regulated supply ( isolating in this way them from the output stage) could be beneficial.

Opinions would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards,

beppe

It's almost the direct copy of an old Elektor circut.

Unreasonable, unassuming design. Sounds terribly.
Sorry folks, for me this is the truth about this amp...

Koszonom szepe !

May I ask what is your choice about power amp circuits?
Could you recommend me anything equally simple but better sounding ?

Thank you very much indeed.
Kind regards,

beppe

I don't want to hijack this thread so I'll keep it brief.

The sub in my avatar is the first prototype of my own designed and built extreme high quality sub. It uses a UK made drive unit from www.shadowworks.co.uk and class-d amplification, plus control, filter and EQ circuitry of my own. The box is sealed.

It is a fairly complex project, but I am hoping to put the plans on my website and maybe offer boards or kits. A fully assembled version will be available from www.8ballaudio.com for a full system of stunning looks and high sound quality.
