For a surface mount main filter capacitor on a vintage amp, one can't solder a resistor directly to a terminal. Therefore:
A) what is the best connector method to connect a resistor to a screw terminal of the cap?
B) what is the name of the connector (some type of 90 degree ring terminal, maybe?)
C) any recommended brands / part numbers for the connectors
Thanks!

These non-insulated crimp terminals are easy to solder to without fighting with it to cut the insulation off- McMaster-Carr
These are #10 screw for 14-16 ga, they also have 6,8, and 1/4". they also have 18-22 crimp and 6 ga for 3000 W amps.
Mcmaster also has non-insulated spade terminals.
