So I just built the Gt102 and the Pr102. All I can say is WOW, maybe think about selling my tube crap...LOL…

All I can say is they are incredible. My Pensils sound like they are in another dimension...wow...

I built GT-101 Stereo Power Amplifier a while ago and Yes!, that was a good amp for sure.
I always wanted to try the preamp.

Voltage regulated and single rail supply, cap coupled output. Looks nice.

Has got a nice Stereophile review from Herb.

ONLY a LM3886 by channel -> Better with bookshelf speakers of high impedance and f > 60 Hz at -3 dB by chipamp limitations (Stereophile review). Or loudspeakers + subwoofer(s).

There are a thread about impressions:

That Stereophile review compared it favorably with a Pass XA25 and J2!

Loudspeakers with a minimum impedance over 6 Ohms and true sensitivity greater than 86-87 dB (if you listen to very good recordings with high/very high dynamic range, about DR15 or more) is a very interesting option, especially if you live in NA.

This morning, tracks with DR18, DR17 and DR15 Now Playing + What are you listening to?

With modern commercial music, usually with DR < or << 10 dB we need much less watts.

Dan Joffe answered many questions of mine. It is nice to deal with him. About Akitika
