Is there a recommended passive crossover design between the mid and highs?

Under discussion, for now I don't have anything to offer you.

No problem. Looks pretty easy to integrate.

What kind of excursion are we looking at for the mid diaphragm? Thanks.

Any idea of what cost might be on these? Or is it one of those "if you have to ask, then...." things?

Joseph Crowe 30th March 2019 05:33 AM

65mm is too big a voice coil for high frequency in a domestic audiophile setting. There will be diaphragm breakup well before 10kHz. That rules it out for me.
Itís tough to find a small format CD that has good extension, let alone a large format.

seanny 30th March 2019 06:40 AM

It's not a dome diaphragm so it's still have breakup at 10 kHz?

Is it a ring radiator? I assumed dome.

As stated in the OP "annular diaphragms", and in B&C's product description, concentric "ring radiators".
