Soundstream Rub1.2500d driver card help

I need some help with identification of a few resistors on the driver card of one of these amplifiers. All are burnt.

R96 = 10k Use a 1/4w instead of a 1/8w
R93 should be the same as R87
R84 = 560 ohms

R93 burns if reinstalled without the output transistors in curcuit. I checked all the c4793-a1837 transistors.

What's the voltage across R95?

5.65vdc R84 completely burned up when tested that voltage.

Solder a bridge between pins 3 and 4 of U5.

Does anything burn with that bridge in place?

the op amp on the driver card perry? U8? I jumped 3&5 on it and no nothing is burning with the jumper.

U5. An opto-coupler on the main board.

Is that model number exactly right?

You need to find the opto-coupler that has pin 5 connected to the control pin on the driver board. It may be U9.

U9 pin 5 is connected to pad marked pg.
With a jumper some resistors are smoking withing a few seconds.

Resistors r91,r86&85 all read 10r replaced them with the larger wattage resistors. Q44 started smoking first with the jumper attached then r84 burned up.

Pin 6, not pin 5. My fault.

Is pin 6 of that opto connected to the ON pin?

Ok pin 6 is connected and I jumped it and no smoke.

Sorry u9 pin 3&6

You would jump 3 and 4 to disable the section of the opto-coupler that enables the driver board to stop the driver board from switching on.

So I jumped pins 3 to 4 and started up the amplifier. I also replaced all burned resistors.

The amplifier with the driver card and outputs in curcuit just goes straight into protection.
