Hi all,

I'm using an external mic with my Android Phone, with my video app of choice.

BOYA BY-MM1 Cardioid Microphone-BOYA

Only issue I have is that I dont have any input level control. I suspect that it's using some sort of "auto level" in the app, but I dont want to run into issues when recording really loud sources such as rock music gigs etc.

Is there a simple circuit that I could use to lower the volume from the mic before it goes into the phone?
