I'm reparing a PPX2400 but I haven't the schematic to help me.

Is someone can provide me the schematic for this amplifier ?

Thanks a lot,

Try skytronic, they bought the citronic brand, and did have some schematics on their site a while ago, you may have to contact their technical department and ask if they still have a copy.....

And there is a seller on ebay currently selling genuine citronic ppx amp power switches, apparently they bought all the spares, thats about all i can tell you.......

I get back the schematic, I replaced the Power MosFet.
I boken 3 of then at the first power on. I think that's a problem with the polarisation courant setup !

Did you repaired your PPX2400 ??
If yes , what was your problem ?

i have not repaired the ppx 2400.

i have repaired lots of ppx 900 and ppx 1200 and 1600.

a few mosfets gone and lots of burnt resistors ans caps usually, no rocket science.......

glad you are done

The PPX 2400 is repaired.

I changed the 6 power MOSFET (250W) + the triac (on short cut to GND).

I have some power MOSFET on spare if you need of it !

The ppx1600 was similar changed 5 fets.......

are the buz devices in the ppx2400?

SilverSurfer 17th December 2008 01:07 PM

Yes BUZ901D and BUZ905D ( Dual MosFet 250W)

Take care, this kind of MosFet can't be touch with your hands without static protection.

You can damage this kind of device !

Other critical point : The bias currant to ajust with an osciloscope.

Do you want some help to repaire your amplifier ?
