The OP has a transformer: "I have a transformer with 3 secondaries, one of which puts out 9.5v............". Jan is right if we disregard that the rectifier bridge is already on the regulator board. Cutting a PCB track and inserting 3 diodes on the rear side of the PCB, for a less experienced DIY'er, I find too challenging. My second option was to create a first bridge rectifier and use the diodes on the PCB only as drop-diodes.
