After all, it is not really difficult to separate a MOT and rewind it. With thicker wire.
MOT's are run with higher flux density so they get hot after about 20 minutes...

to use them will require primary winding rewinds as well..

It is still the same EI laminates, but stack up to 5cm high.
That is from a standard plastic bobbin.
Not sure if there are any higher bobbin sizes.
I will post some pictures once I got the bobbin and coil on hand.

i worked and lived in singapore four years, i know that in the sim lim tower there is a shop there that rewinds transformers....third floor i believe...
