None.
It´s quite wasteful, both of available windings and rectifiers, no sure why would anybody do things that way, except "to be different"
There are better ways to do it.

It can be used in advertising as 'dual mono power supply'.
A tech reason could be to balance the currents in the transformer, sort of cross-coupling.
Who knows.

Extra cost probably not that high.

I think this topology might be more susceptible to ground loops if the currents in both secondaries are not balanced perfectly.

Only if the CT are connected straight to ground - but they should never be wired this way. That was the 1950s way of doing it, when hum/buzz was regarded as normal in audio equipment.

I am also not sure that the circuit is actually as shown in the schematic above. A sim drawn from physical inspection? We all know how reliable that is ;-)

FWIW I checked diyhifi.net and it looks like a fully commercial site, offering/showing tons of stuff from reasonable to expensive audiophoolery and everything in between, with a small and disorganized "diy" section.

Would take anything coming from there with a grain of salt.

Most probably that is it. Just add two more 15 mF capacitors, rewire the bridges, and get a real dual mono PSU with isolated supplies for each amplifier channel.
