Default replacing LM317 & LM337with tentlab shunt regulators

Hi All, im a rookie looking for some advice on replacing LM317 & LM337 with tentlabs shunt regulators in a Metrum octave dac.i thought these where going to be a straight swap, but some of the shunt power LEDs where not on, suggesting low or no volts, it appears there needs to be a bit of circuit board work done to get them working. Unfortunately I cant find a schematic for the dac.thanks in advance.

It won't work. You can't replace pass regulators like LM317's/337's by shunt regulators as plug-ins!
Best regards!
