Anyone please tell me what happens when the input voltage of a TPS7A4700 voltage reg goes below the Vin min of the regulator?
Does it stay 'solidly' on and pass thru the input voltage or will not regulate and block the input voltage?
See block diagram in page 12. There is an under-voltage lockout circuit.
See "Vuvlo" parameter in page 7: Vin>2.67V for ON, Vin<2.5V for OFF.
See "Vdo" parameter in page 7: <450mV at Vin=95% nominal Vout and 1A. This is the Vce-sat of PNP pass element.

Not sure I fully get it - am I correct in stating that if the TPS7A4700 is set for a 5v output (@1 A) then a 4.9v Vin will have typically have around 4.6v at the output (4.9v - 0.307v)?
