C should always be at C1's board position because its local decoupling for the board's circuit also, not only reservoir.

Thanks for your reply. So, when I set to about 60v/120mA(not 80v/300mA), how to change the parts? I can breadboarding it with jumping power reaistor.

Now that people have had time to reach their conclusions regarding the sonic differences between versions 1.1 and 1.3, could someone please describe what they are hearing ? I have the 1.1 in my MC step-up for my Linn Troika cartridge.

2. BC556C BC546C (and B) instead of BC560C BC550C for Q3s

3. 470R instead of 270R for R5 R6. 330R instead of 270R for R7

4. 50K VR1 330K VRR instead of 20K 75K respectively

The above modifications should allow for 5V to 65V adjustable Vout range. Or 5V to 50V if VRR is 100K. Watch the capacitors DCV spec regarding the new higher AC Tx secondaries and new higher Vout range, also remember that the M2 MOSFET will dissipate more as the output voltage goes higher.

If you select them for or you drop them to 0.5mA with source resistors probably yes

Hi Salas, about C3, I've a lot of Nichicon ES ( BP ) 47uF/50V, but I can't measure
ESR at 100KHz. Can I use them?
Tanks

I have a couple of 47uF/35V ES here for around 0.170Ω @ 100kHZ so the 50V ones should be something like 10-20% lower i.e. still good for our purposes
