About Chinese LLC SMPS

In reality, L6599 needs very low power to act to any over current event. and it has nothing to do with shorting secondary main or secondary AUX, that's as per my current design. Facing such problems with such cheap SMPS is just normal and expected, other SMPS manufactures uses fuses at the AUX output to solve this issue, and its good option.

LLC SMPS is one of the most challenging topology when designing a SMPS. In addition to the poor regulation mechanism used into that SMPS. Hope that helps

So I receive the new power supply. Can someone say why there is some wires from high to low side under the transformer? Is the galvanic isolation true with that thing?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I just testet the power supply. With 8ohm resistor. The power supply handle it very easy. It got warm but not much. My 100W resistors were overloaded and gets very very hot :)

Power supply draws about 623W max from the 230v socket. So the efficiency is about 90% No noise or somthing like that :)

Here some pictures with 8ohm load per rail

At 230V socket i have about 600W power consumption. Supply was a bit overloaded. After testing thermal shutdown was getting in.

Ripple looks good.
I made some new mesurements with and without some additional capacitor.

I looks better. I reseted my osczillospoce for that. Could it be true only 200mV noise?

It vould be nice. Voltage drops to 44.4V with 8ohm load.

Resistor gots too hot^^

Im buying from china all the time, but only low-voltage components. This is what I found in my 3d-printer PSU.

Its a very common unit. Must be millions of them out there.

I always get rid of capacitors with bad print. But after seeing the top of the caps, I just had to open them.

The first rule about Amp Club is: You do not use chineese capacitors! The second rule about Amp Club... You DO NOT use chineese capacitors!

I just desoldred transformator for comparesion with other. Small one is from 500W LLC china supply other from an Panasonic Homecinema.

Wires are not soo thick. Did it help you heinrichh?

What you see is that some wires cross high to low side!!!!

I use Chinese caps all the time. Rarely had a failure, either but I use them for filtering and coupling...

Changing the electrolytics will not make them work any better. Do not replace the tuning capacitors!
Swapping secondary side electrolytics to quality low-ESR types may be a good idea - and they will cause no harm anyway. LC-tuning is done with primary foil caps, not by electrolytics.
I can recommend polypropylen-X-caps for tuning circuit as well.
