Power soft start board / amp delay soft start board

what is it ??? thk

Normally, power amplifier's PSU has got a high-power transformer (500-1000 VA) and impressive bank of DC filter capacitors (100-300 mF). Its power-on requires gradual aproach - first, you connect PSU to the mains via an inrush resistor, limiting the current, charging the filter capacitors. After a few seconds delay, inrush resistor is shorted and PSU operates at full power.

In many cases, soft start board is combined with protection board. During the power-on sequence, the speakers are disconnected from the amplifier's output. As soon as power-on is complete (one more delay runf off), the board connects the speakers to the amplifier.

During the operation, protection circuit monitors the amp for such events as:
- DC offset at the output;
- Output stage over-current;
- Heatsinks over-temperature;
- AC failure (mains blackout).

In case of trouble, the board disconnects the speakers and shuts down the amplifier.

thk , i am starting build mx50 se amp board with +
NOVER Electric Capacity Rectifier + Loudspeaker AIO Board

Description:
- Adopting original 2510 rectifier
- Electrolysis capacitor signal main loop adopts Taiwan brand, main filter adopts NOVER professional capacitor10000UF*4/50V, guarantee the constant driving support
- PCB adopts 1.6mm thick two sides board, 2.0 oz copper thickness, tin plated machining, good current passing performance, high quality of PCB board
- Adopting 12A large current imported relay, more stable performance, more durable

? is i need to add Power soft start board / amp delay soft start board or not for safety reason

thk very much againd
