Default simple low noise regulated supply

Hi Guys
Would appreciate if someone can suggest a good + - 15v discrete regulator that can provide about 100 ma of current.

You could try something like this.I didn't build it but looks good on sim.

TPS7A30 (negative) & TPS7A49 (positive) from TI

or superreg from the diyaudio store...

I would in the case of post #2 move the capacitor to the base of BD137, and for the negative
the base of the BD138. Capacitor then is a multiplier x transistors hfe and can be much smaller.

and avoid any capacitor directly on the output at all cost.

3 terminal devices can be exceptional, particularly as current sources
don't disregard them.

Being a feedback amplifier, a certain amount of capacitance on the output is necessary in practice, to ensure stability.
