Looking for a small off the shelf SMPS for active speaker filter

Subject says it all. I'm looking for a small power supply for an active speaker build. I plan on building the speakers by using some HypeX UcD in a tri-amp configuration.

I'm working on the filter design and construction now. Eventually, I will need to power it. While I've taken on the filter design, I'm not terribly interested in building my own PSU at this time. Any recommendations? The HypeX SMPS power supplies do include a 12V 500 mA auxiliary supply, but my understanding is that it's intended for for UcD amps, so tapping them seems like a bad idea.

I don't expect my needs to be exotic. 1Amp, +/- 12v split supply should do the trick. Low noise, obviously.

Where i live, i can get cheap ATX computer PSU for 10 bucks. It already has all the voltages you need. Not sure how small you need it to be. Ebay is also loaded with cheap SMPS.

I have learnt to stop trusting cheap power bricks from eBay. Not because they blow up (although one did), but they limit the performance of my T-amp a lot.

myrra has ready to go blocks they look like an ordinary resin cast ac transformer but it is universal in , dc out, part nr 47124 12V 2.5W. it's flyback as usual. add a cm filter and regulator if you need a solid voltage. hasslefree

Sounds to me like you're in need of some filtering - either a common-mode choke (on the mains side) or LC for normal mode (on the output of the brick).

Thanks all. I also spend some time trolling Digi-key; the problem there is the bewildering selection. I'm not wed to it being SMPS. That was just a starting point. Specifying linear in my search actually narrowed it down more quickly.

Only 400 mA per rail, but the only thing I plan to power with this is the active cross over, and maybe some circuits to switch things on/off based on signal.

I'd prefer to feed linear circuits from linear regulators... maybe get the raw supply from a switcher. For a small balanced line driver, I used a wall wart with AC output, then half-wave rectified it, and regulated with 100 mA adjustable regulators.
