Default Basic V/R question

Hello. Just to be sure, when connecting a resistor from + to - on a dual rail supply at +10 -10.... so +/- 20V, it would simply be 20V/R?

Hello Jimmiegin.
Well, it all comes back to, where Your reference, or the black wire of Your voltmeter.
If You "are standing" on the -10 Volt terminal, You have 10 Volt up to the 0 Volt terminal, or 20 Volt up to the +10 Volt terminal. Long time no hear. Søren Denmark
