So I'm running a 30 watts/8 ohms mini-amp off a battery soon and wonder if it will affect sound with less amps coming from the battery ?
12v/5 amps mains vs 12v/3 amps battery.
It is to power ortho/planar headphones 50/60 ohms which are relatively hungry for watts vs dynamic headphones.
The mini-amp powers the headphones at loudest I can listen at about 50% full volume.
Will I just need to turn volume up to 80% etc off of battery power or is it not that simple ?
