Hi Guys,

I built an X-BoSoZ a while back. It came with two power supplies but I decided to just use one for space reasons. This leaves me with one to use for something else. I am attaching the schematic for reference. In the circuit it uses zeners. It appears that they are set at 4.5V above the output. Is this the zener value I should shoot for when I use this PSU? Can you tell me how many amps this PSU should be able to handle?

Thanks, Terry

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. The transformer shown is for the X-BoSoZ. That is not what I want to use. I would be using a single transformer with say dual primaries of 25-0-25vac, 300vA. The two things I am curious about are;

Will the FET's be able to handle enough current to power a decent size A/B amp?

Should I use zeners equaling 35V per side?

Thanks, Terry
