Linear's LT3080 Regulator

Thanks, jackinnj. Do you have any recommendation on value of the capacitor. I have used 100nF film cap as in datasheet but I don't have any instrument to measure noise. As you mention electrolytic I would guess the value would be much larger than 100nF. How about low ESR electrolytic?

I ran this in LTSpice with a 500k resistor as RSet

Gentlemen, sorry for asking an off-topic question.

I would like and evaluate the LINEAR LT3062 LDO regulator.
Its specifications: VIn < 45V, VOut adjustable up to < 40V, output current < 200mA.

Can it be used, for example, as an amplifier's frontend - power-supply?
Does anyone of you have experience with this regulator?

Thank you, I will try an electrolytic cap to bypass the Set pin at some point.

I tried 10uF to bypass Rset. It cause the start up time to increase to much. This was discussed in the datasheet. LT also mentioned that the max recommended bypass cap for Rset is 1uF.
