Yeah totally man, thought I would mention it as I was gonna order some fostex to play with and it got me thinking about the a7 etc...I was stoked on.

That's OK, no need to be sorry.
I've found eight (!) Soviet alnico/paper 2GD-36 tweeters in my closet, and while they're no match for Corals, I'll probably make do with them.
