I wonder if anyone can answer this question:
I am well into a Pensil 10.2 build. The only thing I would like to change in the original design is to put the vent at the rear instead of the front. Apart from aesthetics, it will help prevent my children filling the cabinets with all sorts of junk :-) The question is: Can I do this without compromising the performance? Thanks! |

There is at least one successful build with terminus on the back. Your room loading may change somewhat.

Thanks Dave, I was hoping you would reply! I will put the vent in the back then. Should I not like the result it will be easy to change to a front facing vent. I still need to take some pictures of the build but I keep forgetting to do so...

Swifty,
Have you got the drivers? If yes, better start breaking them in - very gently - soft music only at low volumes for first ~200 hours is what Mark Fenlon advises. |

They have about 50 hours on them already, sitting in their cardboard boxes :-)

Yup, they're done. Vent location is proving to be just fine. Bass output is strong and articulate.
