Hi,

I had some buzz in my 63's. Happily, it would appear that the noise came from wrinkled and loose dust cover. By tension the dust cover the noise was gone.
Now I want to secure the stators before the grand old English glue cracks.

Question: I will secure the stators by tiny strips of glue "fillet welds" without dismantle the membrane. (i.e. from the rear side of the lattice).
Which glue is most appropriate for this purpose?
Epoxy ? Superglue (cyanoacrylate gel) ?

When I rebuilt my 988,s I purchased 3 extra panels from Europe to rebuild as extras and this is one of them ,,., too funny

The problem is since they are starting to go, even if you were to do a better job than this, you can easily push on what appears to be solid sections of the stator,
only to find their barely hanging on

Sheldon has a YouTube video somewhere demonstrating this

Regards
David
