Hi,
I heard they sent a senior guy over to "sort out " the factory problems. I heard no more than that. Once the problems were fixed it seems that it is a 3-month journey from China to Peterborough (ours), hence the delay.
BTW...thanks for your very useful advice, with renewed vigour I applied the heel of my hand to the top moulding on the speaker. It shot off and dented the wall!
One speaker briefly developed a popping sound. It has now stopped and as the relevant speaker panel is operating I have decided to do no more about it. In any case, they go to Quad in a few months for a service...the previous service being in 2014.
