FAL (Japan) flat cone speakers (and drivers)

Hi all, recently I ran into this website of a flat cone speaker manufacturer from JAPAN - here you can see one of their flat cone drivers.

Does anybody know these drivers or has any experience building with these ?

The KEF B139 had round-end surrounds. How can you fold a square corner surround to be linear when it moves?

Had a look at an importer's website. Had to open a window to purge the stink of their claims out of the room. Even more hyperbole than the usual hyperbole.

There have been a number of threads asking what people think of these. I don’t recall anyone actually trying them.

Jim Salk had a set as mids in the Soundscape proto, and felt it did well at every song he played- but one. He said it had a distortion or resonance with this one track that he felt he could not use it and disappoint his possible customers. In good conscience, he could not use it in the final product.

IIRC, the yen to dollar should mean these are north of $400 each.
