Hi all, Quickie, I've got a usb sound card, and without thinking, I've assumed I can run spdif and analogue out at the same time? Without testing this theory, I've unsoldered the phono out sockets and hardwired leads to the PCB. I listen via Toslink, and wanted to use analogue to feed a sub! I'm not hearing a thing, so do I need to turn that on? OS in question, running Pixel on a Raspberry PI! Mike
Just a guess, but sometimes under Linux/ALSA each output is enumerated separately. For example the analog outputs might be channels 1 and 2, and the spdif might be 3 and 4. It's something to check at least.
The other possibility is that you did some damage or did something wrong when you modded the board.
