Dear Maousse,

Good evening to you.
Can you please permit me to copy the back panel design layout of your UGS preamp. I will make one for myself.

Regards,
Junie
Just found the file on the french Forum :
backpanel

It's a file for Schaeffer AG: Home fr
It's made with their design software.
The design is made for HiFi2000 Slimline 2U case.

I had to modify the powersupply holes.
The one from the file is not big enough for the sub-D 15 connector and 1mm is lost for the locking screws.
For my backpanel, I removed the metal brezel from the connector and cutout 1mm from the locking threads.

I'm just rebuilding my UGS for a display update and to prevent loose connection, I just drilled the 2 holes all the way through.
For those using 24V relays like me, and willing to use Noritake VFD, I pulled out the 9V regulator and inserted a 5V DC/DC converter just before the µC power input. The DC/DC converter is placed after the shielding plate I have between the logic section and the analog section, to keep noise away.

Cheers
Maousse
In case others may need the file

I'm going to finish my UGS soon. I like classe or ps-audio design and this wasn't simple for me indeed. Big thanks for HCFR !

Hi all,

Really clean an pro-look like work Junie. I never post my UGS build version. Since UGS beginning mine was running under proto mod i was the first beta tester for francois. First try was with zvp/znv3310 before françois swith to ZTX actual version. So my proto version was already under use 6 month ago

These are the one i use up to day in my new build in. It 's a simple version (not inclusiv one) since i don't use symetric output yet. I have a remote motor poti and a ES9023 DAC module that i feed with optical numeric signal from my dedicated computer
